OBIEE Developer - Oracle DB 11G Module

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced OBIEE Developer with a strong background in Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) and OBIEE 11g. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enhancing reports, dashboards, and managing OBIEE deployments while ensuring optimal data processing and Responsibilities :

• Report & Dashboard Development : Design, develop, and optimize OAS / OBIEE 11g reports and dashboards following best practices.
• SQL Development : Write and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and processing.
• OBIEE / OAS Administration : Perform deployment, configurations, and administrative tasks to maintain system reliability.
• Debugging & Issue Resolution : Troubleshoot and debug issues in OBIEE reports, RPD, and dashboards to ensure seamless operation.
• Data Warehousing Expertise : Apply knowledge of Star schema, Snowflake schema, Dimension tables, and Fact tables for effective data modeling.
• Repository Development : Work on RPD (Repository) development, including MUDE (Multi-User Development Environment) for collaborative enhancements.
• Performance Optimization : Ensure high efficiency in queries, dashboards, and reports by implementing best practices in performance tuning.
• Security & Access Management : Implement role-based access control and security settings within OBIEE.
• Collaboration & Documentation : Work with business analysts and data engineers to translate business needs into analytics solutions. Maintain comprehensive documentation of development and Skills & Qualifications :
• OBIEE & OAS : Strong hands-on experience with OBIEE 11g / 12c and Oracle Analytics Server (OAS).
• SQL Proficiency : Advanced knowledge of Oracle SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning.
• Data Warehousing : Deep understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehouse architecture.
• RPD Development : Expertise in Repository (RPD) creation, maintenance, and MUDE environment management.
• BI Publisher & Answers : Experience working with BI Publisher, OBIEE Answers, and Interactive Dashboards.
• Administration & Deployment : Knowledge of installation, patching, migration, and troubleshooting OBIEE / OAS environments.
• Cloud & Integration : Exposure to Oracle Cloud and integration with third-party BI tools is a plus.
• Performance Tuning : Ability to optimize queries, reports, and dashboard performance for large-scale Qualifications :
• Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark in BI solutions.
• Knowledge of APM tools for monitoring BI system performance.
• Ability to automate reporting and dashboard updates using Skills :
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
