Job description8+ years of experience in datacenter operations or engineering roles. Strong hands-on knowledge of server hardware (Dell, HP, Cisco UCS), storage (SAN, NAS), and backup tools. Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V). Experience with DCIM tools, power / cooling analysis, and rack planning. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Solid understanding of infrastructure standards, compliance, and availability requirements. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., VCP, MCSE, or data center-specific) are a plus.

Job Summary :
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Datacenter Engineer to participate in a full-scale infrastructure assessment program. You will be responsible for evaluating datacenter operations, physical and virtual infrastructure, and recommending improvements in reliability, performance, and scalability. The role will directly report to the Infrastructure Architect.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess current datacenter environments (on-prem, colocation, or hybrid setups).
- Evaluate server hardware, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and backup solutions.
- Document rack layouts, cabling, power, cooling, and capacity utilization.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for consolidation or modernization.
- Collaborate with network and cloud teams to provide integrated insights.
- Participate in BCP / DR evaluation and assess datacenter readiness and compliance.
- Provide recommendations for improvements, migrations, or cloud transitions.
- Prepare technical documentation and assessment reports.
