Job Summary :
The Deputy Manager – Finance (Audit & Accounts) is responsible for overseeing the internal and external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall financial strategy of the company. This role plays a key part in improving internal controls, financial integrity, and transparency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
Audit Management :
- Coordinate and manage statutory and tax audits with external auditors.
- Prepare audit schedules and documentation required for audit processes.
- Identify audit issues and support remediation planning and execution.
- Liaise with internal functions / stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Liase with Consultants / Accountants of overseas subsidiaries for closing of books on quarterly / monthly basis
Accounting & Financial Reporting :
Prepare and review standalone and consolidated financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with Ind AS.Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts and transactions.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Assist in the verification of payments and monthly compliances of Banks.Review Bank Reconciliation.Prepare MIS presentation on monthly basis for senior management.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and audit procedures.Good knowledge of Ind AS, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Tally).Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.Preferred Qualifications :
Chartered Accountant (CA).Experience in Big 4 or mid-tier audit firms is a plus.
