The Role
The Program Support Officer will support referrals and service access to the SCHS programs, assisting the community to navigate the health and welfare system both internally and externally to the organisation. Program Support will facilitate streamlined and timely access for clients to the services they require and provide a range of administrative and general support to the Managers and staff.
The position will also include tasks such as :
- Manage referrals into the organisation with a focus on ensuring SCHS interactions with clients are streamlined, simple to navigate, transparent and consistent.
- Contacting clients to arrange appointments as well as collecting required information and inputting into an electronic database.
- Assist the program managers with monitoring and processing of referrals, staff’s diary management, monitoring and reporting on service delivery and program related administrative tasks as required.
- Assist teams with the purchasing of consumable products and completing the financial recording.
