EDI Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION : - Key Responsibilities :

Lead EDI projects end-to-end, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Manage EDI team members to ensure timely and quality delivery of solutions.

Develop and maintain EDI maps, transactions, and configurations for various trading partners.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and external partners to define EDI requirements and solutions.

Monitor EDI processes and data flows, ensuring high availability and quick resolution of errors or failures.

Coordinate onboarding of new trading partners and setup of communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN, etc.).

Ensure compliance with trading partner standards, industry guidelines, and internal policies.

Document all EDI processes, mappings, and partner setups for operational transparency and knowledge transfer.

Provide mentorship to junior EDI analysts / developers.

Participate in strategic initiatives to improve EDI architecture, processes, and integration capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum 7 years of EDI experience with at least 1-2 years in a lead or senior role.

Strong expertise in EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and transaction sets across Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing domains.

Hands-on experience with leading EDI platforms such as IBM Sterling Integrator, Gentran, or equivalent .

Proficiency in EDI mapping, configuration, and trading partner onboarding.

Solid understanding of communication protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP, VAN).

Good knowledge of integrating EDI with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with stakeholders and trading partners.
