Alation Data Catalog

We are looking for a highly experienced Alation Data Catalog Architect to lead enterprise metadata management, data governance, and catalog implementation initiatives. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience with Alation and cloud data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and implement Alation Data Catalog solutions

Lead metadata ingestion, business glossary, taxonomy & governance workflows

Integrate Alation with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP

Define data governance standards, lineage models & automation

Work closely with data engineering, BI & architecture teams

Drive platform adoption, optimization, and best practices

Required Skills

10+ years in Data Governance / Metadata Management

5+ years of strong experience in Alation Data Catalog

Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Experience with SQL, ETL / ELT tools, and BI ecosystems

Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
