Role Overview

We’re looking for a Database Developer Intern to support our backend team in structuring, optimizing, and managing our growing data infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who understands the power of clean, scalable database architecture and wants to apply it in a live product environment.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain relational databases (primarily MySQL )
Work with backend developers (Node.js / Spring Boot) to manage data models
Optimize database queries and indexing for performance
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across environments
Write and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and views
Assist in creating automated reports or dashboards if needed

Requirements

Solid understanding of SQL and relational database design

Hands-on experience with MySQL (or similar RDBMS)

Knowledge of ER diagrams and normalization

Familiar with data security best practices

Bonus : Exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB), ETL pipelines, or DB monitoring tools
