Role Description :
The Customer Experience Design (CXD) organization is founded on delivering the Delta Brand experience via welcoming, elevating, and caring service, offering distinctive and premium choices to our customers across all destinations, and personalizing the experience to create memorable connections and deepened relationship with Delta. The Inflight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) team within CXD is on a mission to create a highly personalized and engaging digital onboard environment that drives higher NPS and Delta revenue through two core products : fast, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi and Delta Sync seatback, our personalized seatback screen experience.
This candidate will be part of a high-performing, fast-paced team that delivers actionable insights, analytics, and performance reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for data visualization, optimization, and advanced analytics.
The Sr Data Analyst is responsible for delivering high quality integrated data assets that support the creation of analytical models and visualizations and deriving insights that drive personalization and optimization opportunities. This individual will help the team understand how our customers are engaging with onboard digital platforms to continually improve customer engagement levels. The role will require top-notch technical skills, strong analytics exposure, and understanding of Delta’s customer journey to help drive decisions throughout the organization.
Responsibilities :
Gather and transform large sets of raw data into well-built integrated data assets using SQL, SAS, AWS Glue or other emerging technologiesWrite, validate and performance-tune complex SQL queriesRecommend, build, and monitor robust and extensible data models that capture the business performance from a customer experience lensSupport data quality testing along critical check points to surface data anomaliesBe the expert in critical IFEC data assets and support data documentationDevelop visualizations in Power BI and occasionally support data science teams with exploratory data analysis and KPI developmentSupport the IFEC Analytics, Performance, & Tech team members with best practices on SQL, AWS, Power BI and other systemsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics3-6 years of relevant work experienceExpert in SQL, strong experience in Python.Proficient with Power BI and advanced data visualizationHigh attention to detail, solution-oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEmbraces diverse people, thinking, and stylesConsistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priorityPreferred Qualifications
