We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Atlassian Administrator to join our team on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive administration, configuration, and support of our Atlassian suite of products, ensuring optimal performance, user satisfaction, and alignment with business processes. Job Responsibilities :
- Administration & Configuration : Administer, configure, and maintain our Atlassian instances, primarily Jira Software, Jira Service Management (JSM), and Confluence (cloud-based environments). This includes managing projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and security settings.
- User Support & Management : Provide expert support to Atlassian users, troubleshoot issues, manage user accounts, groups, and roles, and assist with onboarding new teams to the Atlassian ecosystem.
- System Optimization : Monitor system performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and usability of Atlassian applications.
- Integrations & Plugins : Evaluate, install, configure, and manage Atlassian Marketplace apps and integrations to extend functionality and meet specific business requirements.
- Process Improvement : Collaborate with various teams to understand their needs and translate them into effective Atlassian solutions, streamlining workflows and improving team collaboration.
- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Atlassian configurations, processes, and best practices.
- Upgrade & Maintenance : Participate in planning and executing upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities for Atlassian applications.
- Training & Best Practices : Promote Atlassian best practices, develop training materials, and conduct training sessions for users and teams to maximize their utilization of the tools.
- Reporting & Analytics : Assist in generating reports and dashboards to provide insights into team performance and project progress using Atlassian's reporting capabilities and potentially Atlassian Intelligence & Analytics.
Must-Have Skills :
Jira Administration : Extensive hands-on experience in Jira Administration, specifically in Cloud-based environments. This includes deep knowledge of project configuration, issue types, workflows, screens, fields, permissions, and notifications.IT Service Management (ITSM) : Good understanding and practical knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) principles and their implementation using Atlassian solutions.Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders, gather requirements, and provide clear solutions.Collaboration : Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and across departments.Good to Have :
Jira Service Management (JSM) Administration : Strong exposure and hands-on administration experience with Jira Service Management (JSM), including request types, portals, queues, SLAs, and automation.Atlassian Certification : Possession of an Atlassian Certification, such as ACP-620 (Jira Administrator for Cloud), is a significant plus.Experience with other Atlassian products like Jira Work Management, Compass, and Atlas.Technical Skills & Tools :
