Job description

We are seeking a talented Power BI Tech Lead with over 5+ years of experience in data visualization and business intelligence tools. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Power Query , and Python , and proven experience in leading a BI team of at least 3 members . You will be responsible for driving end-to-end BI solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to turn data into critical insights.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of BI dashboards and reports using Power BI and other visualization tools like Tableau and Qlik .
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and develop analytical solutions.
  • Use Power Query and DAX to optimize data models and transform data effectively.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python where required.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver insights that support decision-making.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of BI developers, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely delivery of projects.
  • Monitor BI performance and propose enhancements.
  • Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in BI projects.
  • Stay updated on emerging BI tools and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI , with additional expertise in Tableau and Qlik .
  • Proficiency in Power Query, DAX , and data modeling .
  • Strong scripting and data manipulation skills using Python .
  • Proven experience in leading a BI team of 3+ members.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in cloud-based BI tools (e.g., Power BI Service, Azure).
  • Exposure to SQL, data warehousing concepts.
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
