About Us
Mansfield District Hospital (MDH) is located in Victoria’s scenic high country, at the foot of Mount Buller and on the shores of Lake Eildon, only two hours from Melbourne.
At MDH, we provide care for all life stages and critical health needs. This includes acute hospital care, urgent care, an operating theatre, obstetrics with a midwifery group practice model, aged care, a regional district nursing service for in-home care, and allied health services.
Diversity and Inclusion – We value Great Care. This philosophy extends to our employees and our consumers. In this strategy, we value inclusion and diversity within our workforce and our community, supporting the invisible and visible qualities of all who walk through our doors. Each person has a right to high-quality health care and opportunities regardless of diversity factors, which might include aspects such as cultural, ethnic, linguistic, religious background, gender, sexual orientation, age, and socioeconomic status. Inclusiveness improves our service to our community and promotes engagement amongst MDH employees. As an employee of MDH, you will respect and show kindness to all. We particularly acknowledge the traditional custodians of our land and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
