We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Healthcare Integration Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned developer with a deep understanding of healthcare integration and related data formats such as DICOM and HL7. They should possess a solid grasp of both front-end and back-end technologies, coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities. A passion for delivering scalable, robust, and efficient software solutions used globally is essential.

Roles and Responsibilities

Contribute to the software development life cycle for our healthcare integration product suite.
Utilise your expertise to build integration solutions tailored to the needs of our global customer base.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and UX / UI designers.
Design and implement efficient APIs and interfaces for seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
Ensure code quality through code reviews and actively participate in troubleshooting to maintain product excellence.
Optimise applications for speed and scalability whilst ensuring a responsive and user-friendly experience across devices.
Contribute to architectural and design discussions, providing valuable insights and suggestions for improvements.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance development processes and methodologies.
Actively participate in agile / scrum methodologies, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, and progress tracking.
Champion and enhance our development lifecycle, including architectural and process standards, source control, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.

Requirements Skills and Expertise

A Bachelor's degree in Technology (BTech) in Computer Science or a related field is required. Equivalent professional experience in a technical role may also be considered.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in full-stack development, with at least 3 years focused on healthcare IT.

A strong understanding of DICOM and DIMSE operations.

Proficient in Django ORM, Django REST framework and understanding of Django's class-based views.

Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL and Redis.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines, Docker containerization, and AWS cloud services.

A robust background in healthcare IT.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration between technical and clinical staff.

Experience with an integration engine such as Nextgen Mirth Connect is highly desirable.
