About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven IT Recruitment Specialist to join our dynamic talent acquisition team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of both contract and permanent hiring, especially within the IT services and consulting domain.
You will be responsible for sourcing top technical talent, particularly for niche roles, and managing the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Recruitment : Manage the full recruitment cycle for IT positionscontractual, contract-to-hire, and permanent staffingincluding sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Sourcing Strategy : Identify and attract high-caliber IT professionals through job portals (e.g., Naukri, Monster), social media (LinkedIn), internal databases, referrals, and networking.
- Candidate Engagement : Build strong relationships with candidates, providing them with an excellent experience throughout the hiring process.
- Client Coordination : Liaise closely with hiring managers and stakeholders, especially those associated with implementation partners like Infosys, to understand role requirements and hiring priorities.
- Technical Screening : Assess candidates for technical fit, particularly in domains like Java, and understand core technical terminologies and job requirements.
- Drive Management : Organize and coordinate weekday and weekend interview drives, including scheduling, follow-ups, and feedback collection.
- Market Intelligence : Stay updated on IT market trends, talent availability, and competitor hiring activity.
- Database Management : Maintain and update candidate databases and recruitment trackers regularly for reporting and analytics.
Preferred Candidate Profile :
Experience : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT recruitment, with a focus on both contract and permanent hiring.Domain Knowledge : Deep understanding of IT roles and technologies; must have worked on niche skills and technical profiles, particularly Java-based roles.Consulting Experience : Prior experience working with or hiring for implementation partners (e.g., Infosys, TCS, Cognizant) is highly preferred.Process Awareness : Familiarity with enterprise-level recruitment processes, including volume hiring, client SLAs, and hiring metrics.Sourcing Expertise : Proficient in leveraging job portals, professional networks, and social media platforms for active and passive sourcing.Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of effectively interacting with both candidates and clients.Adaptability : Ability to manage multiple positions across time zones and respond to changing priorities with agility.MBA is a plusref : iimjobs.com)
